We all have the ability to be heroes. Watch this video by Kid President, and think about how you are a hero or how you can become a hero. Who are the heroes in your life? Write a letter to one of your “everyday heroes” thanking them for what they do for others.

Think back to the Crash Course video you watched yesterday. Draw a FOOD WEB. Remember you will need to decide which ecosystem/habitat you are going to use. In your drawing, you will need decomposers, producers, and consumers. You will need different levels of consumers to make the web. Not sure how to start? Look at the example.

Create a DIY bird feeder! HERE is an example of one. If you choose to make one, do not waste toilet paper to get the tube! Don’t have all the supplies for this one, HERE is a website that has 23 different DIY feeders! Add a picture of your bird feeder to my Padlet.

This is where you must cut the figure into two rectangular prisms and then find the additive volume (add both answers together).
Let’s watch a video and do some practice to see if you remember. Go to Khan Academy and work what I’ve assigned. Khan Academy calls composite volume “Decomposing To Find Volume”. There are
6 minutes of videos and 12 practice problems. Have paper and pencil ready. This takes some effort, but I know you can do it!
